Outside of the hottest months from October to May this area of Spain really is a walker's paradise.

There are many walks from the front gates of the Finca, but transport can be arranged to other walking areas if required. Such as from Puerto Blanquillo way inside the Parque Natural to access the peaks of El Cisne, Luthero and Cerro Verde.

A guide can be arranged or you can take a map and directions on some of the simpler walks, a mobile phone can be supplied in case of any problems that may occur.

There are a wide variety of terrains from easy valley bottom strolls to hard mountain walking. For example one of easier favourite walks is the "Three Villages" walk, where we leave the Finca and walk to Canillas de Albaida (20 mins) and then along a delightful goat track to Competa (30 mins), from Competa to Archez (30 mins) and then back to the Finca (20 mins). You can take refreshment as often as you like on the way in the many bars and restaurants.
