"What good times in good places - with others all sharing the delights! The house is set amongst precipitous hills, the drives themselves providing all the thrills needed for me at least, (didn't go into the beautiful swimming pool, looked this time - splash the next). The house is comfortable, everything works and is beautiful with varying inside and outside spaces.
Mitch and Chris made the holiday work and are good company. Thank you. To the painting - with a tireless, enthusiastic great tutor. The work we produced as a group for the final show - our work on show! Such a good place to expand and do things you hadn't thought possible. Oh, and the food. Great chef at the house for such pleasant evenings - and music too. Coupled with visits to restaurants in villages around. Thank you all!!"

"This holiday is just about the most perfect weeks' holiday, and the only thing wrong is it is just one week. Whilst being taught so much by our hard working teacher, we somehow have been so relaxed and happy.
Our host has been kindness itself, Mitch has opened up his beautiful villa and has given us carte blanche to use it. This we have done, the pool, the outside areas, the kitchen, the lounge, the rooms and bathrooms. Endless hot water, comfy beds in large wall appointed rooms, freedom to get up in the night and use the kitchen to make a drink or have a snack and do this any time of the day also. What more could we want, but there is more, not least the beautiful surroundings we find ourselves in. The superb food we have eaten, the friendly comradeship between the fellow artists. The way Mitch has organised the ferrying around of all of us to many beauty spots and to restaurants. The arrangement of eating out and at the villa - perfectly done. We have been entertained with beautiful music by Mitch and his friends, Caroline has been a wonderful hostess and teacher, I have learned a great deal in less than a week and this with no pressure. 'Wonderful'. But of course she is also a very charming person and we all want to do our best for her. Thank you, thank you all."

"Food was exceptionally good as prepared by Kritz. The picnic lunch was also very good. The meals out suffered in comparison with Kritz's food but were good. Being able to help ourselves in the kitchen worked well.
I think Caroline worked very hard to make the course a success and I think she achieved this. She is an excellent tutor and has the gift of critising work constructively without hurting anyones feelings. I was very happy with Caroline's efforts even though I was not here primarily to paint and draw - and felt that I had accomplished a lot, and overcome some inhibitions.
Mitch is one of those very nice people that one meets occasionally - he could not have been kinder and more helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. And the pizza that Chris prepared for us on the first evening was the best that I have ever tasted."
